This USB adapter connects two independent HDMI monitors, projectors and/or televisions to the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on your MacBook Pro, Chromebook or Windows laptop. It's an ideal connector for creating video walls, giving video presentations in conference rooms and classrooms, editing multiple documents on a larger screen, or streaming video for digital signage in crystal-clear 4K. The U444-2H-DL supports Ultra HD 4K resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color and 7.1-channel surround sound.
Built-In DisplayLink Software Ensures Operation with Any Computer Operating System
The U444-2H-DL features DisplayLink video software that works across computing platforms, making this adapter ideal for hot-desking and work-from-anywhere applications. It works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android and Linux. The adapter can also extend dual video outputs through a USB-A port on a laptop with the use of a USB-C to USB-A adapter (sold separately). Note : The host device must be able to download and install the Synaptics DisplayLink driver compatible with the host's operating system. It is recommended that the host PC have administrator access to ensure the drivers install correctly when first connecting the adapter to the host. PD 3.0 Charging Port Powers the Host
The USB-C Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 charging port on the U444-2H-DL supports up to 100W PD charging, with 10W dedicated to the functioning of the adapter and the remaining 90W charging the host (100W power adapter and matching USB-C charging cable sold separately). This is ideal for hot-desking and work-from-anywhere applications, as it eliminates the need to carry a bulky external power supply in order to charge your laptop.
TAA-Compliant for GSA Schedule Purchases
The U444-2H-DL is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.
