Chain-of-trust encryption and secure firmware boot capability prevent the EVMI8365X PDU from being a cyberattack vulnerability point on a network. An embedded, hot-swappable gigabit network module (GNM) offers enhanced management and cybersecurity, including zero-trust architecture and zero-touch provisioning. The EVMI8365X is compatible with select Eaton Brightlayer Data Centers suite software solutions that enable extensive automation and remote management to shorten response times to power issues and ensure timely updates for stronger cybersecurity.
Remote Management Saves Time and Money
The GNM with multi-color touchscreen supports performance management software for real-time reports, trend charts, dashboards and alerts that are prioritized by severity, as well as remote troubleshooting and automated responses during power events. The EVMI8365X is compatible with optional environmental sensors (sold separately) that provide alerts about temperature, humidity and dry-contact device connections.
42 Outlets Give You Plenty of Power Options
The EVMI8365X features 24 C13 outlets, which accept C14 connectors, and 18 high-retention C39 combo outlets, which accept both C14 and C20 connectors, adding flexibility to deployments and reducing the quantity of PDUs you will need to purchase and install. The outlets are evenly distributed into six color-coded load banks, each with its own circuit breaker, to improve load balancing and organize connections in a crowded rack.
Convenient Box-to-Rack Installation
This EVMI8365X PDU features toolless mounting buttons that allow front- or side-facing rack installation, depending on your rack's layout and your power needs. The 10-foot power cord with CS8365 input connects to a compatible AC source. Low-profile circuit breakers are flush with the lightweight aluminum chassis, and the narrow two-inch width saves space within the rack for revenue-generating equipment. You can cascade up to 40 EVMI8365X models with each model maintaining its own individual IP address from a single network connection point.
