An HDMI cable (sold separately) is required for this DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. The DisplayPort to HDMI adapter transmits high-definition audio and video from your DP device to an HDTV, display or monitor with HDMI for video streaming or gaming. The DisplayPort to HDMI adpater connects and configures displays in Extended Desktop or Mirrored Displays configurations.
