Eaton's cloud-based remote monitoring app offers convenient setup, control and management of a single UPS or a larger deployment. Scan the QR code on the UPS to download the app to your mobile device. Receive alerts, push configurations, silence alarms or control load banks using a mobile app or web browser. Being able to monitor and access multiple UPS systems from a remote location helps reduce the number of site visits, saving you time and money. The unit's NFC (Near-Field Communication) feature lets you configure network settings instantly from your mobile device.

Allows Time to Back Up Critical Files During a Blackout

During short blackouts, the SMART1000LCDTNC switches to battery power to keep connected equipment running. This allows you enough time to save data and complete a safe shutdown in case of a longer outage. Once AC power is restored, the SMART1000LCDTNC restarts automatically, regardless of battery charge level, saving you a costly site visit.

NEMA 5-15R Outlets and Controllable Load Banks Protect Connected Components

Five 5-15R outlets provide battery backup and surge protection for your computer, monitor, security camera and other crucial equipment. The other five 5-15R outlets provide surge suppression only for desk lamps, speakers and other equipment regarded as non-essential during a blackout. Eaton's remote monitoring application enables individual control of two switchable load banks, allowing them to be powered on, off, or cycled remotely. This remote functionality facilitates the rebooting of equipment that is not responding, thereby eliminating the need for expensive and time-consuming on-site visit.

Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) Corrects Low- and High-Voltage Conditions

AVR protects your equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems caused by brownouts and overvoltages. The SMART1000LCDTNC can correct brownouts as low as 92V and overvoltages as high as 150V back to nominal 120V power continuously, all while keeping the battery fully charged and ready to take over in case of power failure.

Easy Preventative Maintenance and Initial Troubleshooting

The SMART1000LCDTNC's self-test capability and user-replaceable internal battery can extend the life of the UPS and minimize disruption to operations. A resettable circuit breaker on the rear of the UPS helps prevent dangerous system overloads.

The easy-to-read LCD and two diagnostic LEDs provide vital status information, including voltage, battery level, load level and power usage. The audible alarm indicates low-battery and fault conditions. It can be disabled via the LCD or the remote monitoring app, which will still respond to silenced alarms via the app.
