The Lenovo ThinkSystem 440-8e and 440-16e SAS/SATA 12Gb HBAs are high performance PCIe 4.0 host bus adapters for external storage connectivity in ThinkSystem servers. The adapters provide either two or four x4 external mini-SAS HD connectors to provide connectivity to external storage devices such as ThinkSystem DE Series storage and LTO9 tape drives.
The adapters carry a 1-year limited warranty. When installed in a supported ThinkSystem server, the adapters assume the server's base warranty and any warranty service upgrade.
