FW800 provides the fastest FireWire connection available. Portable hard drive is also backward-compatible with USB 2.0 ports for expanded functionality. This HFS+ drive is formatted specifically for compatibility with Mac operating systems and uses two interfaces - Firewire 800 and SuperSpeed USB 3.0 - for dazzling transfer speeds. The included Formatter, hard-drive formatting software, lets you easily format the drive to either FAT 32 or HFS+ to suit your own system. The versatile drive also includes Verbatim's Green Button energy-saving software to save power when the drive is not in use.
